At long last, the start of the 2019-20 Milwaukee Bucks season is finally here.
It’s been nearly five months since the Bucks last took the floor for a meaningful, competitive game, all of which ended in heartbreak as their magical run last season was cut short by the eventual NBA champion, Toronto Raptors, in the Eastern Conference Finals.

And while we saw some Bucks players in action over the offseason, between this year’s FIBA World Cup and over their undefeated preseason, the real thing starts Thursday night when they open up their regular season account against the Houston Rockets.
This new season of Bucks basketball brings a whole host of expectations after they fell short of reaching the NBA Finals, and after they were able to retain much of the very roster that catapulted the organization to success last year.
With the Eastern Conference projected to be a two-team race between the Bucks and the Philadelphia 76ers, and a number of teams duking it out to come out of the Western Conference, there may be no better point for the Bucks to realize their title aspirations than this season.
