The Milwaukee Bucks tallied their fourth straight victory Monday night when they eventually took care of business to sneak past the Chicago Bulls late.

Adding a fourth win to their winning streak, the Milwaukee Bucks survived through a late-game scare in their 115-101 victory over the Chicago Bulls Monday night at the United Center.

The tone for the night was quickly set as the Bucks and Bulls battled back and forth straight away following the opening tip. The Bucks rattled off a strong run as the quarter wore on, but the Bulls chopped away at their first quarter deficit to come within 3 of the Bucks at 29-26 through one.

The back and forth affair between the two teams extended into the second quarter and the Bulls got a huge lift from rookie big man Daniel Gafford, who proceeded to demolish the rims on the Bulls’ home floor.

Despite Gafford’s first half breakout, the Bucks weathered the storm and took a 60-56 edge into halftime.

Both the Bucks and Bulls got off to ragged starts offensively and it led to some ugly stretches of basketball throughout the third quarter. Nevertheless, the Bucks just barely held on top at the end of three with a 84-81 advantage.

Disaster nearly struck the Bucks after they showed signs of breaking away from the Bulls before a stretch midway through the fourth quarter that saw Chicago take their first lead of the second half at 99-98 at the 6:23 mark in the period following a triple from rookie guard Coby White.

However, that would be the Bulls’ final made field goal of the night as the Bucks closed the proceedings out with a 17-2 run in what remained of the game from that point on.

So without further ado, let’s dive into what stood out in the Bucks’ win over the Chicago Bulls from Monday night.
