Now one month into their run this 2019-20 season, we take a look at the big picture trends that have emerged for the Milwaukee Bucks so far this year.

Nearly one month into their 2019-20 season, the Milwaukee Bucks have been what most fans and followers around the league expected coming into the year.

Standing with a 12-3 record, currently good to top the Eastern Conference, the Bucks have maintained their status as a title contender with their early season play resembling most of what they achieved throughout their magical run last year.

Of course, their superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, has unsurprisingly been at the center of their success through their first 15 games and he’s very ready to defend his MVP title, by all accounts.

But the Bucks’ play goes beyond Antetokounmpo and after an offseason marked by retaining several key pieces that were instrumental to their play last season, save for one notable departure in Malcolm Brogdon, the Bucks have hit many of the same statistical marks that came about through last year’s run.

With that said, some key differences stand out, both good and bad, and it’s all made for some early season intrigue intertwined with the great start they’ve gotten off to this go around.

So without further ado, let’s explore the big picture developments that have defined their strong start to the 2019-20 campaign, starting with the incredible start for Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.
