The Milwaukee Bucks host the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night in the first leg of a home-and-home series with Gregg Popovich’s team.

The Milwaukee Bucks are back in action on Saturday night, in what will be their final game at Fiserv Forum for 10 days.

The Bucks have recently enjoyed a particularly home-heavy stretch in their schedule, but that’s all set to change, at least temporarily, as following Saturday’s game against the Spurs, Milwaukee will set off for a four-game trip out West.

At one time, such a trip would have been incredibly daunting to a Bucks team, but this year it seems like the kind of thing that they should be able to take very much in their stride.

While the Spurs come to Milwaukee four games below .500  and scrapping for the eighth seed, the Bucks are 31-5, boasting the best record in the NBA, and a five-game lead over the East’s second placed Boston Celtics.

In other words, the two teams enter this game in very different places, and with very different priorities, but that won’t necessarily guarantee any kind of rolling over from the Spurs when the action tips off.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the storylines worth considering ahead of Saturday’s game between the Bucks and Spurs.
