In an ugly game at the Chase Center on Wednesday night, the Milwaukee Bucks found just enough to come away with a win against the Golden State Warriors.
The Milwaukee Bucks certainly haven’t had everything their own way on this Western Conference road trip, and are more generally starting to look like a team that won’t be too disappointed to get an extended break next month.
Having said that, Friday night in Sacramento provided a welcome boost as, even though it was far from perfect, this was comfortably the Bucks’ best performance of what had been one of their shakiest weeks of the season to date.

It didn’t start perfectly, and there was certainly a rough spell to bridge the end of the first half and start of the second, but the Bucks found plenty of positives on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor to ensure they ultimately prevailed with a comprehensive victory.
With Giannis Antetokounmpo a long way below his best, both Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe stepped up admirably, while Donte DiVincenzo and Sterling Brown also offered crucial contributions off the bench.
