As the Milwaukee Bucks kick off the second half of the season Tuesday night, we look at some of the biggest questions facing them at this checkpoint.

Considering the circumstances they’ve dealt with, the Milwaukee Bucks couldn’t have asked for a better first half to their 2019-20 season.

Standing at 35-6, good for the best record in the NBA, the Bucks have spent the first three months of their campaign reinforcing the fact that their successful campaign last year was no fluke.

All across the board, the Bucks are a better team than the squad that finished with the best NBA record last season at 62-20, and held a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals before their season was quickly dashed by the eventual champions, the Toronto Raptors.

It was how their season ended last year that has led to some healthy skepticism as to whether the Bucks can learn from their mistakes from that series and translate their regular season magic into an even deeper playoff run or an NBA championship this time around.

And while they’re on a 70-win pace at the halfway mark in their season, Bucks All-Star swingman Khris Middleton is taking to heart that this Bucks team still has some questions to answer in order to achieve their ultimate goal as he told Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel relayed after the team’s latest victory over the Portland Trail Blazers:

"“I don’t want to say we think about it too much,” Middleton said when asked about being on pace for 70 wins. “We know we can’t win the championship in the regular season. Just keep playing, man. It’s a long season and we’ve got a long way to go.”"

With all of that in mind, let’s examine some of the bigger questions facing the Bucks as they head into the second half of the 2019-20 season, shall we?
