The Milwaukee Bucks bounced back Sunday afternoon with a wire-to-wire victory over the Phoenix Suns, which stands as their 42nd win of the season.

After previously suffering a rare loss, the Milwaukee Bucks responded with a complete and comfortable 129-108 victory over the Phoenix Suns Sunday afternoon at Fiserv Forum.

The Bucks set the tone for the day early on, though the Suns would nip at their heels as the first quarter went along. Despite that, the Bucks held a 30-26 edge at the end of one.

That rhythm carried over into the second period as the Bucks couldn’t shake the Suns off their trail.

Milwaukee eventually got some much needed separation with a late quarter run to give them a 67-52 advantage going into the halftime break.

The Bucks sought to maintain their double-digit lead once play picked back up in the second half.

And after the Suns briefly cut their deficit down to single digits under the four-minute mark, a prompt run of back-to-back-to-back threes from Pat Connaughton and Donte DiVincenzo helped the Bucks avert a lapse as they subsequently took a 97-80 lead into the final frame.

The Bucks kept their gaudy lead intact throughout the fourth quarter and closed out the Suns to garner a bounce-back victory.

So without further ado, let’s dig into what stood out in the Bucks’ victory over the Phoenix Suns, starting with the play of Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.
