The Milwaukee Bucks exacted their revenge on the slumping Philadelphia 76ers Thursday night to pick up their 44th victory of the season.

Under the national spotlight, the Milwaukee Bucks handed the Philadelphia 76ers their fourth straight loss Thursday night with a 112-101 win at Fiserv Forum.

With their Christmas Day defeat to the 76ers on their minds, the Bucks entered proceedings playing pretty tight versus their normal method and style of play. Fortunately, the same applied to the 76ers, but a strong shooting first quarter from three led to Philly holding a 26-22 edge at the end of one.

The Bucks promptly responded with a more composed second quarter, but still had to shake off a 76ers team that continued to hit triples as they did all throughout the night.

Still, the Bucks entered halftime taking a 54-51 lead into the locker room.

Milwaukee broke open the game in their favor not long after play picked back up in the second half as they brought their lead into double digits routinely throughout the third period.

And their offense started to broaden out beyond Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s work, which helped them earn an 86-74 advantage through three.

Philadelphia quickly looked to stage a fourth quarter comeback and they came within 5 of the Bucks at the 8:08 mark in the final frame. But the Bucks promptly hit into high gear to recover their double digit lead and keep the 76ers at arm’s length from that point on in the night.

So without further ado, let’s dig into what stood out in the Bucks’ win over the Philadelphia 76ers from Thursday night, starting with the performance of one Giannis Antetokounmpo.
