As he’s reportedly set to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks following his buyout with the Charlotte Hornets, it’s time to learn more about veteran newcomer, Marvin Williams.
The Milwaukee Bucks stayed out of the frenzy that is the trade deadline, but they didn’t take long to add a reinforcement through the still developing buyout market.
As The Athletic’s Shams Charania first reported late Friday night, the Bucks will reportedly sign veteran forward Marvin Williams after wrapping his buyout with the Charlotte Hornets.

Coming to Milwaukee carrying 15 seasons of experience and still possessing a skill set that obviously attracted the Bucks enough to part ways with a project like Dragan Bender to open up a spot on their roster, Williams is the prototypical veteran contributor that shores up the Bucks’ depth even more.
And going from a lottery-bound team like the Hornets are this year to a championship contender like the Bucks is quite the sea change, but one that Williams will happily welcome.
After all, with it being since the 2015-16 season since Williams last reached the postseason as a member of the Hornets, the prospect of potentially finishing out his NBA career as an NBA champion is one too good to pass up for someone of his position.
So without further ado, let’s explore more about Bucks newcomer, Marvin Williams.
