The Milwaukee Bucks compiled an incredibly dominant victory over the Philadelphia 76ers to take control of the season series with their inconsistent rival.

To say the Milwaukee Bucks asserted their dominance would be an understatement as they compiled a 119-98 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers Saturday night at Fiserv Forum.

The Bucks raced out to a quick double-digit lead that caused 76ers head coach Brett Brown to call timeout nearly three minutes into the opening quarter. While Philly awoke from their slumbering start, the Bucks remained in control with a 31-21 lead at the end of one.

Philadelphia responded with their most threatening run early on in the second quarter, which helped them come within 1 of the Bucks near the eight-minute mark in the second.

Milwaukee promptly responded to avoid slipping further and quickly recaptured their double-digit lead over the 76ers. Still, a sloppy close to the first half left the Bucks leading 56-50 going into halftime.

It was in the third quarter where the Bucks, led by their superstar in Giannis Antetokounmpo, completely blew open the doors to fully separate themselves from the 76ers. Antetokounmpo wasn’t alone as two-time All-Star Khris Middleton carried the torch for the Bucks to overwhelm the 76ers, and Milwaukee held a 93-73 advantage through three.

The Bucks didn’t let off of the proverbial gas pedal throughout the final frame and Brown eventually waved the white flag just before the six-minute mark in the fourth quarter. Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer followed suit as the Bucks comfortably collected their 48th victory over one of their biggest rivals standing in the East.

So without further ado, let’s dig into what stood out from the Bucks’ dominant win over the Philadelphia 76ers from Saturday night.
