Milwaukee Bucks: 3 things Marvin Williams still needs to improve on with Bucks system
Since joining the Milwaukee Bucks last month, Marvin Williams has immediately stepped into a regular role within the Bucks’ rotation. But there are still a few things the veteran forward needs to address to maximize his fit in his new home.
It’s been nearly a month since Marvin Williams arrived as the Milwaukee Bucks’ big midseason reinforcement.
After negotiating a buyout with the Charlotte Hornets, the Bucks made quick work of picking up Williams and potentially making the biggest addition on the buyout market that developed following the trade deadline this season.

And in turn, the Bucks and head coach Mike Budenholzer have relied on Williams almost straight away since he made the switch to join the league’s best team.
The seasoned veteran is averaging 3.8 points on 13-of-33 shooting from the field (39.4 percent) and 6-of-23 shooting from three (26.1 percent), 3.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists through his first nine Bucks appearances across 17.4 minutes per contest.
That’s certainly modest production for Williams since coming to the Cream City and his greatest impact thus far is how he’s been able to step into the Bucks’ top-ranked defense with little hiccups. With that, there are definite areas of improvement that Williams can make to fully realize his stint with the Bucks as they pursue an NBA title this season.
So without further ado, let’s dive into the areas that Marvin Williams will look to improve upon to fully realize his role with the Bucks.
