Having fallen to consecutive losses for the first and only time in the 2018-19 regular season when they made the trip to play the Suns last campaign, the Bucks repeated that trick on Sunday for their 2019-20 season.

Incredibly, given just how rare losses have been for the Bucks since the arrival of Mike Budenholzer too, Milwaukee has now lost three of its four meetings with Phoenix under his reign. Perhaps the Suns took personally their home state coach jilting them to put down roots in Wisconsin.
With Giannis Antetokounmpo missing the first of what will be multiple games with a minor joint capsule sprain in his left knee, the Bucks were given something of a reality check in Arizona, and it may be just the start of an extended tough run given the two games next up on the schedule.
