Without multiple starters and key contributors, a shorthanded Milwaukee Bucks squad delivered a gutsy performance, but were swept by the Denver Nuggets in their season series this season.

The Milwaukee Bucks’ losing streak climbed to three games as they fell to the Denver Nuggets in a 109-95 defeat at the Pepsi Center Monday night.

Of course, last night’s loss was far different from any of the three the Bucks suffered over the course of their three-game road trip out West as head coach Mike Budenholzer elected to rest multiple starters and key reserves for the night.

Instead, we saw a lot of seldom-seen Bucks players get some rare extended action as they attempted to give the Nuggets a run for their money for most of the night.

Denver, meanwhile, took plenty of time to unofficially pull past the Bucks Monday night as they continue to try find their form in what’s been a disappointing return from the All-Star break.
