Veteran wing Pat Connaughton has built upon his foundation throughout his second season with the Milwaukee Bucks this year and we highlight some of his most signature performances of the year.
For someone who stands as a mere supporting player for the Milwaukee Bucks, Pat Connaughton has made an indelible imprint on the club throughout his tenure.
Over the last two years, Connaughton has been one of the leading faces of the Bucks’ culture and what this era of Bucks basketball represents, what it has been defined as by the singular focus of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Mike Budenholzer and so on.
A man of many hats, both in the professional sports realm and off the court, Connaughton’s ability to do what is asked of him and in his high octane nature has made him one of the Bucks’ go-to reserves for the second straight season.
And that’s been to the Bucks’ benefit as Connaughton has stood as a serviceable option on the wing within the team’s crowded mix of dependable veterans (Kyle Korver, Wesley Matthews) as well as the rising Donte DiVincenzo.
Over his 61 appearances this season, Connaughton is averaging 5.1 points on .456/.321/.750 shooting splits, 4.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists across his 18.3 minutes per contest, which includes one spot start.
So without further ado, let’s run through three of Pat Connaughton’s signature performances of the 2019-20 season before this current hiatus.
