On their trip to Los Angeles before the season was suspended, the Antetokounbros were joined by a couple of Milwaukee Bucks for a visit to Jay Leno’s famed garage.
As he’s offered up countless examples of on social media (guitar, chess) in recent days, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is, like the majority of the people on the planet, currently doing his part in the fight against coronavirus by staying at home.
Of course, for as strange as it increasingly feels, it really wasn’t all that long ago that everyone was going about their lives as normal in a relatively care-free fashion.

It goes without saying that normal life for Giannis and his brothers is very different to the day-to-day for the rest of us, but it’s something that we all got a reminder of in the past couple of days.
In a video posted to the Antetokounbros TV YouTube channel over the weekend, fans were given the opportunity to essentially tag along with Giannis, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Kostas Antetokounmpo, and Bucks duo Brook Lopez and Ersan Ilyasova, as they took a trip to Jay Leno’s legendary garage.
The visit took place just over two weeks ago, a day prior to the Bucks’ 113-103 loss at Staples Center.
Leno’s car collection is frequently reported as including over 180 cars, along with a vast range of motorcycles too, meaning there was no shortage of vehicles for the Antetokounbros to admire.
Certainly it was Leno’s McLaren F1 that drew the most attention for the brothers and the accompanying Bucks. The former talk show host explained that he purchased the car for $1 million, but that the value had soared since. With only 106 models made in total, Leno urged the players to guess the car’s current value which, to the surprise of most of them*, he ultimately estimated at $20 million.
(*I’m not sure Ersan is capable of shock, and he actually guessed correctly on the car’s original price anyway!)
As Leno quipped to Giannis about the relative price: “It’s just one season!”
Judging by a teaser at the end of the video, it looks like there’s more to come from the visit to Leno’s garage with a part two coming up.
