Brook Lopez’s role as the Milwaukee Bucks’ catalyst has extended into this 2019-20 campaign.
Just as he had done last year, Lopez continued to crystallize many of the things that the Bucks prize in their system under head coach Mike Budenholzer.

The one exception in comparing Lopez’s first and second seasons in Milwaukee has been the drop-off he has experienced shooting the ball as he’s gone through plenty of ups and downs from long range.
On the other hand, the Stanford product has made up for his shooting setback by becoming an even more imposing rim protector and defensive player, which has been central to the Bucks being an even better unit on that side of the ball.
From that lens, it certainly hasn’t been a seamless season for Lopez, but there still have been plenty of improvements to gleam from throughout his run this year.
