Khris Middleton of the Milwaukee Bucks has donated $25,000 to the Milwaukee Public School Distrcit’s COVID-19 Relief Fund, continuing his charitable efforts around the city of Milwaukee.

Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton continues being an All-Star being on and off the court.

On Tuesday morning, it was reported that Middleton has donated $25,000 to a COVID-19 Relief Fund set up for the Milwaukee Public Schools Foundation. As part of it, Middleton’s gift will be matched by the Joseph and Vera Zilber Family Trust Fund.

As it is laid out in the press release, the donations will go toward providing 2,500 supply kits for MPS students and families that include various cleaning, hygiene and school supplies.

MPS Executive Director Wendell Willis gave a statement towards the generous donations that Middleton and the Joseph and Vera Zilber Family Trust Fund gave towards the school district’s fund:

"“We’re very appreciative that Khris Middleton, the Joseph and Vera Zilber Family Trust Fund, Boswell Books, T-Mobile, and others have spearheaded the community leadership required to assist our efforts for relief for families and immediate student needs. We truly thank them, along with the many community members that have donated to these initiatives, for going the extra mile at this unprecedented moment.”"

This is just the latest instance of Middleton’s charitable work, which has increasingly come to the fore over the course of his Bucks stint and as he has gained prominence in the league overall.

Bucks fans certainly know of Middleton’s “12 Days of Khrismas” where he lends a helping hand to various organizations around Milwaukee, the state of Wisconsin and his home state of South Carolina leading up to Christmas.

Those acts of generosity, among others, led to Middleton being named a finalist for the NBA Cares Community Assist Award for the 2018-19 season. Along with that, Middleton was also named a finalist for last year’s Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year, which eventually went to current Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley.

This, of course, comes after Middleton, along with all Bucks players and the organization as a whole, made contributions to Fiserv Forum workers that were suddenly out of work in light of the season stoppage because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Whether it’s the amazing acts of generosity and kindness we’re seeing from Middleton or the work George Hill has done in San Antonio near his home in Texas or just as the Bucks as a whole, the goodwill keeps on growing from the organization to help those in need during these tough and surreal times.

Hopefully, it will make the return of Bucks basketball all the more sweeter if and when things return back to normal to some degree.
