Milwaukee Bucks: Revisiting Kyle Korver’s 2019-20 season so far

As his search for an NBA championship continues, Kyle Korver has enjoyed a successful season to date with the Milwaukee Bucks.
As a free agent last summer, Kyle Korver chose the Milwaukee Bucks over the likes of the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers. With his career winding down, the former Creighton Bluejay was set on contending for a championship, and viewed the Bucks as the best place for him to do that.
But not only did the Bucks represent a top tier team for Korver to latch on with, but also one where the personnel where a near perfect fit for him.

Korver made his sole All-Star appearance and enjoyed the best spell of his career while playing under Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer’s guidance with the Atlanta Hawks. Building on that further, Korver had a chance meeting with Giannis Antetokounmpo ahead of free agency that convinced the veteran of just how special it would be to play alongside the reigning MVP.
Speaking of how that day swayed his final decision, Korver told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel back in January:
"“You’re around him and you feel his greatness on the court,” Korver said. “He’s just such an imposing presence, dominant presence. But he’s hungry to learn, he’s hungry to work and it’s like, ‘That’s who I want to go to work with, guys like that.’ I want to be around guys who love the game and are doing this for the right reasons and play good team basketball. I really connected with that and saw something special in him.”"
With that duo having built up a strong understanding since, and Korver meshing with the rest of his Bucks teammates too, it looks like he made the right decision.
