With just 10 days until the Milwaukee Bucks are back in regular season action, details have been released of the local TV schedule for the restart.

It’s been a long road to get back to this point, but Milwaukee Bucks fans can start to trust in the fact that basketball really is coming back, and their team should get a chance to finish off what was shaping up to be an incredibly memorable season.

There was plenty of good news on Monday on that front, as the latest round of testing in the Orlando bubble returned zero positive tests for COVID-19 out of the 346 people tested.

Making the imminent return of basketball feel even more real for Bucks fans was the fact that the organization and Fox Sports Wisconsin officially announced the local TV schedule for the team’s eight remaining regular season games.

While it remains to be seen whether local broadcasts will be in use for early rounds of the postseason, as they would be under normal circumstances, Fox Sports Wisconsin will broadcast all eight regular season Bucks contests in Orlando.

Additionally, the original schedule release from the NBA detailed that at least six Bucks games would also be featured on national television, leaving plenty of viewing options for those living both inside and outside of the Milwaukee market.

According to a statement released by the Bucks, Fox Sports Wisconsin’s coverage will be fronted by familiar faces and recorded remotely from Fiserv Forum:

"“The network’s live broadcasts will feature play-by-play announcer Jim Paschke with analysts Marques Johnson and Steve Novak. Zora Stephenson will handle reporting, with all player interviews taking place via Zoom. The telecasts will originate from Fiserv Forum with the talent line-up working remotely for all games.Bucks Live presented by Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin will air before and after every telecast. Craig Coshun and Dario Melendez will host the pre/postgame shows which will originate from Fiserv Forum or locations within Deer District.”"

What does remain to be seen is what kind of coverage will be available for the Bucks’ upcoming scrimmage games, which get underway starting on Thursday against the San Antonio Spurs.

While the Spurs haven’t got a plan to broadcast that game yet, the Kings and Pelicans are both broadcasting their clashes with the Bucks, albeit they may only be available for viewers in those respective local markets.

The Bucks may well follow suit, though, perhaps broadcasting the scrimmages via Bucks.com or the official team app. According to a tweet from the team account on Monday, fans should “stay tuned” for more details on broadcast plans for the scrimmages.
