The Milwaukee Bucks closed out their first round series with the Orlando Magic as they took a 118-104 Game 5 victory Saturday afternoon in Orlando.

While it may have come a few days later than expected, the Milwaukee Bucks put on the finishing touches to their first round series against the Orlando Magic Saturday afternoon with their 118-104 Game 5 victory.

Both teams took some time to find their way getting into rhythm, but the Bucks came out firing away from deep to start the proceedings. While their offense sputtered toward the end of the first quarter, the Bucks led 26-21 at the end of one.

After Orlando started strong to start the second, the Bucks got back in their groove, all of which was led by superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

From there, the Bucks’ offense throughout the latter half of the second quarter was flowing as great as we saw throughout the entire series and led the Magic 67-50 going into the halftime break.

Milwaukee kept up their control of the contest for much of the third quarter and led by as much as 21 early on in the period. However, Orlando didn’t go quiet into the good night as they set the stage for their last stand of the series as they clawed their deficit down to 90-79 at the end of three.

The Magic ramped up their comeback to start the fourth quarter and eventually made it a one possession game when they trailed the Bucks 96-93 with 7:39 to go in the frame.

Milwaukee promptly answered the warning call by rattling off a pair of threes from Marvin Williams and a turnaround jumper from Khris Middleton. From there, the Bucks comfortably closed out Game 5 to take the series and advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals for the second straight year.

So without further ado, let’s break down what stood out in the Bucks’ Game 5 victory over the Orlando Magic from Saturday afternoon.
