Veteran sharpshooter Kyle Korver will soon hit the free-agent market, and the Milwaukee Bucks have a decision to make on his future.
After playing out his one-year veteran minimum deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, Kyle Korver once again finds himself heading into unrestricted free agency this offseason.
When the team added Korver last offseason, reportedly beating out the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers in those sweepstakes, the fit was easy to understand. For a team that lives with a “let it fly” temperament from behind the arc, it did not take long for Korver, one of the greatest 3-point shooters in NBA history, to get acquainted.

Although he played the fewest minutes in his career since his rookie season in 2003-04, Korver made the most of his time whenever he checked in nevertheless.
In 16.6 minutes per game this season, Korver averaged 6.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game on .430/.418/.854 shooting splits in 58 games and serving as a stellar piece off Mike Budenholzer’s bench.

In 11.9 minutes per game, he continued to make his presence felt on the offensive end by averaging 6.2 points per game on 42.6 percent field goal shooting and 40.5 percent 3-point shooting.
After an impressionable first season with the Bucks, what the future holds for the 39-year-old is up in the air. At the end of the season, he told The Undefeated’s Marc J. Spears that he would discuss with his family before deciding his NBA future. If Korver eventually decides that he is not ready to call it a career just yet, the Bucks must decide whether to re-sign him or let him walk.
With that being said, here is what to buy and what to sell on Kyle Korver’s impending free agency with the Milwaukee Bucks.
