The Milwaukee Bucks reportedly have restricted free agent Bogdan Bogdanovic on their radar this offseason, and it is relatively clear to see why.

It was never a secret that the Milwaukee Bucks were planning for a busy offseason to retool their roster, as they have been mentioned in countless rumors.

The latest buzz comes from a report by The Athletic’s Shams Charania ($$), who reported that the Bucks are expected to be a strong suitor for Sacramento Kings’ guard Bogdan Bogdanovic in free agency. Bogdanovic put together a career year this season, averaging 15.1 points on .440/.372/.741 shooting splits while chipping in 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.

Three years after coming from overseas, the guard will now hit restricted free agency and already has one potential suitor in the Milwaukee Bucks.

As much as the Bucks would like to get their hands on Bogdanovic, bringing him in is far easier said than done. Aside from Milwaukee already being limited financially, Bogdanovic stands as one of the most coveted restricted free agents this offseason, giving the Kings the ability to match any offer sheet that comes to him from other teams.

Recent reports suggest that Bogdanovic might not want to continue playing with the Kings, however. According to The Athletic’s Jason Jones ($$), the guard is reportedly frustrated with the direction of the franchise after missing the playoffs in each of the three seasons he has been there. If Bogdanovic wants a fresh start elsewhere, Milwaukee’s interest in him is intriguing.

Although the 28-year-old is not the star many were hoping for this offseason, his fit with the Milwaukee Bucks makes sense for a handful of reasons. Without further ado, here are three reasons that Bogdan Bogdanovic is an ideal fit for the Bucks.
