Milwaukee Bucks: 3 potential threats to sign Kyle Korver in free agency
By Dalton Sell
After one year with the Milwaukee Bucks, Kyle Korver will hit unrestricted free agency with a strong market likely to follow.
Kyle Korver has made a living as one of the greatest 3-point shooters to step on an NBA court, and he is still going strong 17 seasons later. Spending his 2019-20 campaign with the Milwaukee Bucks, the sharpshooter played a smaller role than usual but thrived with the team’s “let it fly” mantra firing on all cylinders.
In 58 games this season, Korver averaged 6.7 points with .430/.418/.854 shooting splits, along with 2.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. Milwaukee ultimately fell short of their title aspirations, and now the guard will hit unrestricted free agency with an uncertain future ahead.

Following Milwaukee’s close to the season, Korver told The Undefeated’s Marc J. Spears that he would discuss with his family about the possibility of retirement. Korver will turn 40 years old in March of next year, and several NBA teams will be patiently waiting to make a pitch towards him if he decides he is not finished just yet.
One of those teams should be the Milwaukee Bucks, given how well Korver played with them this season. The 39-year-old proved that he could still play at a high level this season, and given his stellar 3-point shooting, he is an ideal fit alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo.
There will likely be some competition if Korver decides to play another season, however, as several teams across the association could use his 3-point prowess. With that being said, here are three teams that could potentially be threats to sign Kyle Korver in free agency.
