With the Milwaukee Bucks in the market to upgrade their backcourt and their point guard spot this offseason, replacing Eric Bledsoe will be no easy task.
The Milwaukee Bucks have quite the needle to thread over the next several weeks ahead of the start to the 2020-21 NBA season.
Their latest playoff disappointment illuminated many of their outstanding flaws as far as the way they’ve built up their team and leave them in search of trying to find more playmaking and shooting, preferably in their backcourt. All while speculation centers around the long-term future of Giannis Antetokounmpo with his supermax extension offer soon to be on the table.

While all Bucks fans look around the league and even through the draft to find the right guard to slot around the Bucks’ foundation, it’s easy to forget and move on from the Bucks’ incumbent point guard, that being Eric Bledsoe.
Bledsoe certainly comes with his own set of problems, the most glaring of which have repeatedly come in each of the last three Bucks playoff runs.
Having not exactly covered himself in glory when it has mattered most, Bledsoe has made himself expendable for those reasons. So much so that it’s an open secret that Bledsoe will ultimately be traded this offseason.
Yet, for all of the flaws and deficiencies that Bledsoe possesses, he has made himself a useful contributor and has undoubtedly made his mark within the Bucks’ identity over the last two years under head coach Mike Budenholzer.
So without further ado, let’s look at the three biggest hurdles the Bucks will face in potentially replacing Eric Bledsoe this offseason.
