The Milwaukee Bucks retooled their depth at the shooting guard position this offseason, but how does their current rotation shape up?

The Milwaukee Bucks entered the offseason with a substantial amount of uncertainty surrounding their wing rotation, and justifiably so.

Milwaukee lost a handful of their rotational pieces at the shooting guard position in free agency, including starter Wesley Matthews, Sterling Brown, and Kyle Korver. While it would be a tall task, the Bucks did a great job reshaping their depth at the position throughout the offseason. With all of their new pieces taken into account, here is a look at the Milwaukee Bucks’ projected shooting guard rotation.

Shooting guard No. 5 – Nik Stauskas

After spending the entirety of last season playing overseas in Spain, veteran guard Nik Stauskas rejoins the NBA on a one-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.

However, his stint with the Bucks will likely be limited to just training camp, as Stauskas’ deal is not guaranteed, and the team would have to pull some significant strings to have him on the opening night roster.

Still, this gives the 27-year-old guard a chance to fight for a roster spot in the NBA once more, even if it will not be as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks. Stauskas, the former No. 8 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, proved to be a serviceable rotational piece throughout his five years in the league. Throughout his 335 career games, Stauskas averaged 6.8 points on .389/.353/.814 shooting splits, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.

If Nik Stauskas puts together an impressive showing in camp, he could potentially be deserving of an opportunity somewhere.
