The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Miami Heat in historic fashion Tuesday, but they will have little time to celebrate with a rematch scheduled tonight.
Following their disappointing 20 point defeat to the New York Knicks, many wondered how the Milwaukee Bucks would respond.
Well, the Bucks took care of business against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night, having demolished them 144-97 two days after their loss to the Knicks. The Bucks made a statement in their colossal win, and newcomer D.J. Augustin discussed how the win transpired following their loss to New York:

"“I don’t think it mattered who we played this next game. After that loss to the Knicks, we all didn’t sleep well that night. It’s just the mentality of a winning team… We were ready to get back out there tonight and make a statement and get a good win.”"
The win allowed the Bucks to even up their record at 2-2, and they will look to break .500 as they take on the Heat tonight in the second night of a back-to-back.
Without further ado, here are three things to watch for in tonight’s rematch against the Miami Heat in South Beach.
The Bucks looking to carry over the momentum from Tuesday
Almost everything appeared to be clicking for the Bucks against the Miami Heat Tuesday night.
Milwaukee’s 47-point win was the largest on the road in team history, but that was not even the most significant record broken on this historic night. The Bucks connected on an astounding 29 triples throughout the contest, having shattered the previous NBA record of 27 in a single game. This comes just two days after their blunder against the Knicks, where they connected on just seven 3-pointers during the entire game.
A substantial portion of Milwaukee’s triples came from Jrue Holiday, Donte DiVincenzo, Khris Middleton, and Brook Lopez, who connected on a combined 18-of-25 triples. They were certainly not alone, however, as every player that stepped on the court for the Bucks Tuesday night, aside from Giannis Antetokounmpo, hit at least one 3-pointer. More on the Greek Freak’s struggles in a minute.
Building another strong performance with the momentum from this win will be crucial for the Bucks as a unit as they square off against the Heat once again. That means high-level energy and defense, along with a hefty amount of 3-point shooting.
