It is still premature to say that they have potentially found some rhythm, but there have been several bright spots early in the season. Some particular players have stood out thus far, whether it be because of their numbers or their overall impact on the success that has come to the Bucks to this point.

Before we begin, rookie Jordan Nwora undoubtedly poses a strong case to make this list, but the limited action in meaningful minutes has hindered his chances. With that out of the way, here are three rotational players that have been impressive for the Milwaukee Bucks’ 10 games into the 2020-21 NBA season.
No. 3 – Bobby Portis
Before he even set foot on the court for the Milwaukee Bucks, Bobby Portis had already made a strong first impression.
Portis has regularly talked about how excited he was to join the team because he had never been part of a winning culture and how he took pride in coming off the bench to contribute. The 25-year-old has adopted an underdog mentality, and he plays every game like it is his last, which has made him an early fan favorite for the Bucks.
On the court, Portis is making a solid impact as well. He is the team’s leading scorer off the bench throughout 10 games, averaging 11 points on .542/.400/.800 shooting splits. Along with the scoring punch he has provided, Portis is also hauling in 8.3 rebounds and dishing 1.5 assists in 24.2 minutes per contest thus far. Splitting time at both positions in the frontcourt, Portis provides a much-needed dose of versatility for this Bucks team to utilize.
The one knock on Portis’ game is his subpar presence on the defensive end, but that is something he has emphasized on improving. Nevertheless, Bobby Portis is making his presence felt early with an all-around positive impact both in the locker room and on the hardwood.
