The Milwaukee Bucks could potentially be active on the market in the coming weeks leading up to the March 25 NBA trade deadline.

Their name has been recurring in the trade mill this season, and they could be gearing up to make some notable moves to improve this roster further. However, fans should dial down their excitement if they were expecting any seismic moves to be made between now and then.

More from Bucks News

Milwaukee’s blockbuster trade for starting point guard Jrue Holiday has left them deprived of any major assets to include in any potential deals. Furthermore, their financial flexibility is virtually non-existent, so general manager Jon Horst will undoubtedly have to pull some strings to get any deal done.

However, that does not take Milwaukee out of the running for upgrades entirely, as a few smaller-scale moves are certainly still in the question if the team desires.

The Milwaukee Bucks will have to get creative if they want to make a move ahead of the trade deadline.

With a shortage of picks, Milwaukee’s most expendable asset at the moment is fourth-year forward D.J. Wilson.

The 25-year-old has been out of the rotation for almost the entirety of the season, logging just 105 minutes across his 12 total appearances. Although Wilson has spent most of the season as a spectator, there could be teams in the hunt for youth that are willing to give him the opportunity the Bucks never did.

With the seventh-highest salary on Milwaukee’s roster this year at $4.5 million, Wilson could be a valuable asset to use in trade discussions. That salary will play a crucial part in any deal that Bucks are able to pull off, no matter how sizeable.

With that in mind, here are three buy low trades for the Milwaukee Bucks to pursue that include D.J. Wilson.
