The final day of the Milwaukee Bucks‘ 2020-21 regular season is here and there is much to figure out.
The biggest topic of interest is who the Bucks will face going into the start of the 2021 NBA Playoffs and even where will they ultimately stand in terms of seeding. Following their 122-108 victory over the Miami Heat Saturday night, the Bucks stand third in the East with a 46-25 record.

While that may be where the Bucks will ultimately stand going into the playoffs, there is still some level of uncertainty in terms of being able to improve from where they are in the East.
So without further ado, let’s run through the scenarios in play as the Milwaukee Bucks prepare to close out their regular season.
The Milwaukee still have a shot at the second seed in the East
Yes, it’s true that the Bucks hold a slim chance to leapfrog over the Brooklyn Nets for the second seed in the East. Working in their favor is having the tiebreaker over the Nets after having won the season series with the Eastern title contender.
What isn’t working in the Bucks’ favor, though, is the fact that the Nets close out their season with the Cleveland Cavaliers Sunday night. Cleveland is not far removed from having suffered an 11-game losing streak that they have since broken earlier this week in a win over the Boston Celtics.
Per Basketball-Reference, the Bucks have a 10 percent chance of finishing with the second seed in the East going into the final day of the season.
Of course, the Nets will also be playing on the second day of a back-to-back after having beat the Chicago Bulls 105-91 Saturday afternoon. They won’t be leaving their home arena, the Barclays Center, when they host the Cavaliers and the Bucks will likely know whether they stay put in third or make the jump to second by the time they tip off their regular season finale against the Bulls.
