The Milwaukee Bucks handled their business against the Miami Heat with a clean sweep in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Exorcising their playoff demons from a season ago against this very Miami team, the Bucks looked like a force to be reckoned with during all four games. Some of that can be attributed to Miami’s sluggish effort, but the bigger takeaway is undoubtedly that this Milwaukee team is unlike the two teams that have suffered miserable fates in each of the last two postseasons.

More from Bucks News

These changes for the Bucks are highlighted by their star-studded starting lineup, which had seemingly started to fire on all cylinders after a turbulent regular season trying to put all the pieces together and get the ball rolling.

While more changes are coming following some tragic news in Game 3 of this series, this five-man wrecking crew had a series to remember against the Heat. With that being said, here are individual grades for Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez, and each starter in between in Milwaukee’s sweep of Miami.

How did Jrue Holiday perform for the Milwaukee Bucks against the Heat?

PG. Milwaukee Bucks. JRUE HOLIDAY. A. The Bucks traded for Jrue Holiday last offseason was because they needed a point guard that could get them over the hump in the postseason. Holiday provided immediate optimism in that regard with a phenomenal series by averaging 15.3 points on .481/.200/.667 shooting splits. Although he struggled with that outside shot by shooting just 3-for-15 over the four games, the guard was fantastic elsewhere on the offensive end as he consistently scored at will. He was also a playmaking virtuoso by dishing out an astounding 9.8 assists per game, ensuring to find his teammates as he orchestrated the offense to perfection. In addition to his stellar scoring and playmaking, Holiday made his presence felt on that glass by hauling in an average of 6.8 rebounds. Lastly, the guard displayed his robust defensive presence not only by matching up against Miami’s best players but also by snatching 2.3 steals per game. Holiday was stellar on both ends of the floor during his first playoff series with the Bucks en route to a perfect 4-0 start.
