After a week off, the Milwaukee Bucks certainly did not look ready to play in their Game 1 matchup with the Brooklyn Nets.
Despite Brooklyn losing James Harden after he hit the court for less than one minute, they throttled the Bucks with a 115-107 victory to set the tone moving forward. While Harden’s status for the remainder of the series remains unclear as he battles through the same hamstring issue that nagged him all throughout the regular season, the star-studded Nets did not need him to win this Game 1 contest.

Credit will deservingly go to the Nets for that, but the Bucks also deserve their share of the blame for the brutal effort put forth in this disheartening loss. This was just an all-around pitiful performance from the team and they will undoubtedly have some soul-searching to do following this defeat.
