Of course, this playoff run hasn’t been short on big moments made by the Bucks and those moments as well as cathartic plays have come to characterize the Bucks’ playoff run as they reach the summit of their journey tomorrow night.

So without further ado, let’s break down five of the biggest moments that have defined the Milwaukee Bucks’ historic 2021 playoff run.

Khris Middleton set the tone for the Milwaukee Bucks’ playoff run with his game-winning shot vs. the Heat

There have been a number of dramatic moments littered throughout the Bucks’ playoff run this year and it all dated back to the Bucks’ opening playoff game.

It’s easy to forget just how pressure-filled the Bucks’ Game 1 was against the Miami Heat in the first round of this year’s NBA Playoffs, especially given everything that has come since then. But that opening foray set the tone for what we would see and how the Bucks have thrived in those types of moments.

It’s through that lens that Bucks fans can thank Khris Middleton for nailing down his game-winning shot over Duncan Robinson with 0.5 seconds to go in overtime that eventually gave the Bucks a 109-107 victory in overtime back on May 22.

Middleton’s shot helped propel the Bucks to a grimy victory as he finished with 27 points to lead the way and helped Milwaukee fend off the Heat’s blistering shooting performance from 3-point range where they went 20-for-50 on the day.

It’s served as the kind of clutch shotmaking we’ve seen repeatedly from Middleton and the Bucks, especially as the two-time All-Star has been handed the keys to the team’s offense in such situations throughout this run.

For as thrilling as the play was that helped secure a hard-fought victory and set up the decisive sweep the Bucks would later complete on the Heat, we didn’t know what would yet be in store.
