Players across the association are currently in Utah to celebrate the 2023 NBA All-Star festivities, and it looks like they could be in Milwaukee for the same thing in a few years.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Bucks are submitting bids to host the All-Star Game at Fiserv Forum in 2025 or 2026. Indiana is already scheduled to host the game next year, which is why the Bucks are looking at the following two years. While a bid is just a bid, this is undoubtedly an exciting nugget from Wojnarowski. Given that Fiserv Forum was built in 2018, the arena is still fairly new and has not hosted an All-Star game in its short history of existence.

Reaction to the Milwaukee Bucks looking to host an NBA All-Star Game

It would unquestionably be exciting to have the NBA All-Star festivities in Milwaukee for the first time since 1977. Given their small market status, the Bucks have scarcely gotten the chance to do something like this in recent memory. While it is not set in stone, it is great to see the Bucks trying to bring a unique event to the city of Milwaukee for the first time in a long time.

It is no secret that Giannis Antetokounmpo has always taken the All-Star Game as seriously as any player ever has. Could one imagine what he would do if the game was in his own arena in front of the fans he plays for? He might shatter some all-time records and would certainly put on a show for the hometown crowd, which he currently does on a nightly basis.

For now, all fans can do is wait and see how things go from here. In the meantime, they can enjoy Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday participating in the All-Star entertainment in Utah this weekend. Who knows, perhaps those two could be back on the floor together for another All-Star Game in Milwaukee in 2025 or 2026. The door of possibility just swung wide open, and these are unquestionably some exciting times for Milwaukee Bucks basketball.
