Bucks' dream draft haul seems all too tantalizing to become reality

If there is a world where the Bucks can have four first rounders in this draft, that's a good starting point for a rebuild.

The Milwaukee Bucks want to stack picks in this draft class. According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, they are making calls around the league to potentially get three. With how talented this class looks, there is no shame in that at all. Yet, is there a way the Bucks could go even further beyond and have potentially FOUR selections in this 2026 first round? It's a long shot, but it's possible.

Bucks should make countless calls

How do the Bucks get four picks? Well, it all starts with their own. Milwaukee has the 10th pick in this upcoming draft, and that shouldn't change. If they trade Giannis Antetokounmpo, a legitimate option, they could grab the 13th pick from Miami, given that they appear to be the frontrunners. Those two are the easiest to figure out. Now, the trickier two.

Rather than take him on themselves, it wouldn't be surprising if the Milwaukee Bucks told Miami they would need to reroute Tyler Herro to make a more satisfying offer. Would the Detroit Pistons, who are on the hunt for more offense this summer, be willing to take a stab at the guard? If the coast was filler and the 21st pick in this upcoming draft, would they pounce? The Heat should hope so.

Finally, the Bucks should hope that the Charlotte Hornets think highly of Myles Turner. Per ESPN's Jeremy Woo, the Hornets are searching for frontcourt upgrades and could be willing to deal one of their first-rounders—14 or 18—for the right fit. Turner had a bad year, but in the right system, there is no doubt he could still be an impactful piece. Does Charlotte feel that way? The fit would be solid.

Again, it's a long shot, but it's not off the table entirely.

The Bucks need as many firsts in this class as possible

This feels like a draft class NBA fans will look back on in 10 years with amazing fondness. Every single player projected in the first round has immense potential. The Milwaukee Bucks would be lucky to get two picks. Imagine having four. Losing Giannis Antetokounmpo would be a gut-punch, but having four first-rounders in this stacked class would be a nice way to start over.

The Milwaukee Bucks could officially turn a new leaf and welcome an era of player development with a coach like Taylor Jenkins in tow. With that much talent coming in, there is a good chance the Bucks could dig themselves out of a Giannis-less hole in due time. Of course, this is all just a hypothetical. No one knows what will truly happen with Giannis over the next several days. Yet, the clock is ticking.
