The Milwaukee Bucks have started working out prospects ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft, and one of the most intriguing names to make the cut so far is Flory Bidunga. Per HoopsHype's workout tracker, the Kansas Jayhawk has worked out for the Bucks, who could very well be in the market for a player of his build after potentially moving on from Kyle Kuzma this summer.

Bidunga checks off boxes for the Bucks

Right off the bat, what jumps off the page the most with Bidunga is his elite explosiveness. He's an incredible athlete, primarily using that to his advantage on the defensive end. For a Bucks team that has lacked athleticism for years now, landing someone like Bidunga could bring some needed flair to the frontcourt.

The stats are fascinating. In his sophomore season, Bidunga averaged 13.3 points, nine rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game. A lot of that comes from the aforementioned athleticism. He attacks the hoop inside, soars for rebounds, and is never afraid to get up to block a shot. At 6-foot-9, 220 lbs, Bidunga has the build to develop into a strong two-way forward very quickly.

His biggest flaw is the lack of a jump shot. Bidunga attempted just two 3-pointers during two seasons of college, having missed them both. In today's NBA, it's hard to survive without a jump shot. Perhaps his defense and rebounding could lend him a little leeway, but at the end of the day, developing even a passable jump shot could open a lot of doors for the forward.

Bucks' uncertain frontcourt could need filling

All of the talk regarding the Milwaukee Bucks' frontcourt centers around Giannis Antetokounmpo at the moment, and rightfully so. However, Kyle Kuzma isn't a lock to be in town whether Giannis stays or goes. The Bucks could very well look to move off of his contract this offseason to find an upgrade or just move in a younger direction, which would open up an opportunity for Bidunga to step in.

The question is just how badly the Milwaukee Bucks may want Bidunga. Currently, he ranks 49th on HoopsHype's rankings, making him a likely second-round pick. Yet the Bucks don't have any picks other than their 10th-overall selection this year. Perhaps they could trade for one if they think he's worth it. Otherwise, they will have to keep their fingers crossed that he goes undrafted.

We'll find out in just a few weeks now.
