Spending money currently isn't an issue for the Milwaukee Bucks, as they are about $33 million below the tax line. However, having enough room on the roster is, as highlighted by Spotrac's Keith Smith. At this point, they are allowed to carry 21 players, but once the regular season nears, they must narrow it down to 15 standard players and three two-ways. That should factor into their current plans.

Bucks roster is filling up fast

Milwaukee's roster currently hosts 15 standard players, which excludes Pete Nance and his contract that is not guaranteed for next season. It also doesn't include recent draftee Malique Lewis and last year's pick Bogoljub Marković.

If they decline Nance's deal and keep the other two overseas, that could be the roster right there. However, it absolutely will not be. The Milwaukee Bucks almost certainly want to make more moves, and while they can stack up pieces for the summer, they should be looking to shed some players.

Who are the candidates? Kyle Kuzma and Gary Harris feel like the obvious two. Both are on expiring contracts, making them at least somewhat more desirable to interested suitors. However, Kuzma is still earning around $20 million, so it would be much harder to move him than Harris, who is on the books for just about the minimum.

Elsewhere, AJ Green and Myles Turner are at least candidates to keep a close eye on. Green is a good piece and one of the best shooters in the NBA, but that's what could make him so valuable to teams. As for Turner, he is among the oldest players on this squad and could be moved for more assets that better fit Milwaukee's young timeline.

Other moves the Bucks should eye

So far, the Milwaukee Bucks' only move has been re-signing Ousmane Dieng. They certainly will not be calling it an offseason and getting some rest after that. The team still has plenty of money to spend while also possessing a trade exception worth around $25 million, giving them the ability to take on someone without sending out anything.

It won't be surprising if they make a medium-sized splash. While the guard and center positions are flooded with depth, Milwaukee could use another capable forward, especially if they find a way to offload Kuzma. Jonathan Kuminga is out there. Tari Eason could be a great use of spending money. Milwaukee will have options, but the biggest question mark is how they will make the room.

For now, just get the talent in the door and go from there.
