The Milwaukee Bucks got busy immediately after using the 47th selection of the 2025 NBA Draft on Bogoljub Marković, making a handful of corresponding moves. Let us break down those moves and how they will impact the team moving forward.

Bucks' post-draft moves

Signing Mark Sears to a two-way: Point guard depth will be paramount for the Milwaukee Bucks this summer as they look to start the year without Damian Lillard. Mark Sears isn't the lone answer to the lingering problem, but he can certainly help the cause. Over the course of his final two seasons at Alabama, he averaged 20.1 points and 4.6 assists while shooting 38.6 percent from deep. He's a nice bucket-getter who can also facilitate. The looming concern is his 6-foot-1 height, as he is undersized.

Signing Terrence Edwards Jr. for Summer League: The Milwaukee Bucks didn't take a wing like many thought they might in the NBA Draft, but they got one after. The wing is coming off a solid season at Lousiville, having averaged 16.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.7 assists. If he truly wants to stick at the next level, he must keep doing all of the little things while cutting back on the fouls and turnovers, a pair of issues that stuck out last season. All in all, this is a nice, low-risk flyer.

Signing Wade Taylor IV for Summer League: Once again, the Milwaukee Bucks will likely look all over for point guard help. They worked out Texas A&M all-time leading scorer Wade Taylor IV before the draft, and they will be bringing him in after. Like Sears, Taylor is another quality scorer and passer, having averaged 15.7 points and 4.3 assists per game this past season, but like Sears, he is another small guard, standing at a mere 6-feet tall.

There's some intrigue with the Summer League roster the Milwaukee Bucks are putting together as the draft passes. Marković has plenty of captivating attributes for a 6-foot-11 big man. Sears has the chops to be a legitimate sparkplug on offense. Edwards could be a lengthy wing worth developing if he locks in defensively. Taylor could be a sweet passer to provide a second-unit spark offensively.

Returning names, such as Chris Livingston and Tyler, Smith will likely join them, as will other players the Milwaukee Bucks decide to bring in over the next few weeks before Summer League begins.
