There have been plenty of jersey number changes for the Milwaukee Bucks this offseason, including several swaps, such as Kevin Porter Jr. giving up No. 3 to Myles Turner. Now, per NBA numerologist Etienne Catalan, Porter will switch to No. 7 this upcoming season, which had been worn by youngster Chris Livingston, who just recently re-signed with the team.

Bucks will have some new jersey numbers next season

Of course, players don't usually give up their numbers out of the kindness of their hearts. There is some form of compensation involved. When former Dallas Cowboy Deion Sanders wanted to wear No. 21, he reportedly got Alundis Brice his dream car in exchange for the number. Something likely went down behind the scenes here.

No. 7 is a new one for Porter. Previously, he's worn No. 4 and 77. With the former retired in Milwaukee, 77 felt like a logical option, given that it is there for the taking after the AJ Johnson trade. However, it appears Porter will be rocking just one seven this coming season. The new number could be the start of a new era for the guard, who has a chance to be Milwaukee's full-time starting point guard.

As for Livingston, there's no telling what number he will don this coming season. It'll be interesting to see if he goes after No. 24, the number he wore during his lone collegiate season at Kentucky. That number had been worn by Pat Connaughton, who rose to fan-favorite status in Milwaukee, for the past seven years, so it would certainly take some getting used to seeing someone else in it.

Sticking with jersey number updates, a few newcomers have also revealed what they will be rocking. Guard Cole Anthony will wear No. 50, the same number his dad wore with the franchise back in 2002. Fellow point guard Mark Sears, set to play on a two-way deal, will wear No. 19. Second round draft pick Bogoljub Markovic, if he sticks with the team, will don No. 23.

Of course, as said, Myles Turner will wear No. 3.

The only newcomer who still has to pick a number is Gary Harris, the shooting guard who is one of the signings flying under the radar. During previous stops with the Orlando Magic and Denver Nuggets, Harris wore No. 14. Of course, that is retired in Milwaukee due to John McGlocklin, so the guard will have to pick something else.
