The writing has been on the wall for a while now that not everyone with the Milwaukee Bucks will be on the roster when the regular season begins. With two roster spots needing to be cleared, there is bound to be some change. As just one preseason game remains, almost everyone needs to treat this game like their future depends on it—because it just might.

One game remains before cutdowns

Coach Taylor Jenkins has given everyone an opportunity to spread their wings throughout these exhibition games. Some have dazzled, while others have struggled. Those who have failed to make a steady impact could find themselves elsewhere in due time. NBA insider Jake Fischer reporting that the Bucks are currently making trade calls only adds to the intensity of this preseason finale.

Based on performance, age, contract, fit, or whatever else, a few players on the roster bubble include AJ Green, Pete Nance, Caris LeVert, and Kevin Porter Jr. Green and Porter could help the Bucks land actual assets in return and clear the guard logjam. Nance is on a non-guaranteed contract and can be cut with little consequence. LeVert has struggled and doesn't fit the long-term timeline.

While everyone will be under a microscope in the finale, these four will be particularly worth keeping a close eye on. Depending on how they play, it could be their final showing in a Bucks uniform.

Bucks who are possibly safe from roster cuts

Right off the bat, Ryan Rollins, Brayden Burries, Kel'el Ware, and Nate Ament go into the "untouchable" spot, as it would be shocking for the Milwaukee Bucks to trade any. Kasparas Jakucionis and Jaime Jaquez Jr. likely aren't too far behind. Ousmane Dieng and Jericho Sims could draw interest but likely stick around. No one is embracing Gary Trent Jr.'s controversial new contract.

Tyler Herro, Myles Turner, and Kyle Kuzma are all interesting players here. By all accounts, it sounds like the Bucks are thrilled to have Herro, so maybe he sticks. Yet, as a desire for a new contract takes shape, maybe they reconsider. Turner has been a great veteran, but with Ware flashing potential, the Bucks might want to get him playing more sooner. Kuzma is fine, but he's a movable expiring contract.

Everyone must be on their toes. Outside of a select few, this could be the showing that decides their future in Milwaukee.
