As always, there are plenty of storylines for the Milwaukee Bucks heading into the new NBA season.

One of them is when former Bucks will walk back into Fiserv Forum, which always creates a unique angle in those particular matchups. That said, let us look at when a few former Milwaukee Bucks will be back in town this regular season.

Jrue Holiday - November 10, 2024

There's always an intense atmosphere when the Bucks and Boston Celtics play. Part of that has to do with the Jrue Holiday storyline, which needs little rehashing. The guard is now playing for one of the team's biggest rivals, and he's now doing it with another ring on his finger after winning it all last year.

When both parties are healthy, there's an argument that these are the East's top two competitors, so it's always great to see them go head-to-head. It won't take long for the two titans to clash for the first time this season, and Holiday and the Celtics will come to town in November.

Malik Beasley - November 13, 2024

After spending last season as a starter for the Milwaukee Bucks, Malik Beasley left in free agency to join a Central Division foe in the Detroit Pistons. The Bucks already saw him in the preseason, where he appeared very motivated to go against his former team. That should carry into the regular season.

His return won't be as emotional or nostalgic as some of the other ones on this list, but it could still be a very interesting contest. Including the addition of Beasley, the Pistons have made an assortment of interesting moves this past offseason to revamp their roster.

Mike Budenholzer and Grayson Allen - April 1, 2025

After taking last season off, Mike Budenholzer accepted the head coaching gig for the Phoenix Suns. There, he will reunite with Grayson Allen, the sweet-shooting guard he coached in Milwaukee for two years. No joke, the pair will return to Milwaukee on April 1, 2025.

It'll be interesting - and odd - to see Budenholzer on the opposite sidelines for the first time in a long time when he returns. It would be shocking if there was not some sort of video tribute for the Bucks' former leading man after his contributions over many years.

Done Divincenzo - April 8, 2025

Donte DiVincenzo's ascension to being one of the league's best role players since leaving the Bucks has been something to see. It stings, sure, but he was incredibly unlikely to become this player had he stayed in Milwaukee.

Now, with the Minnesota Timberwolves after an offseason trade involving the New York Knicks centered around Karl-Anthony Towns, the guard is out of the East, so the Bucks won't see him quite as often. Yet, on April 8, 2025, he will be back in town for a matchup.
