The Giannis Antetokounmpo trade market is taking shape. If the Milwaukee Bucks trade him in the coming weeks, they will have plenty of offers to sort through. Some will be better than others; that much is for sure. With all that said, let's analyze the teams rumored to be in pursuit who have offers worth discussing.

Best of the best

Miami Heat. They should be in the driver's seat. Miami is one of the few teams that has a strong mix of draft picks AND young players. If the Bucks can get some combination of Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Kasparas Jakučionis, and Jaime Jaquez Jr., it would set them up nicely for a rebuild. Rerouting Herro to another team could help the Bucks land even more useful assets.

Boston Celtics. While they don't have an assortment of young talent to offer, the Celtics do possess draft capital and NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown. Although he's a good player, Brown wouldn't fit well in Milwaukee without Giannis, so rerouting him would only make sense. Coming off the most productive season of his career, Brown could help the Bucks net a haul from a needy contender.

Portland Trail Blazers. Another team with a boatload of draft picks AND players. What makes the Blazers particularly interesting is that they have control over Milwaukee's picks in several upcoming drafts from the Damian Lillard trade. If the Bucks could get some of those back, as well as younger players like Shaedon Sharpe and Scoot Henderson, it could be worth exploring.

Middle of the pack

Minnesota Timberwolves. A mediocre offer, as the tier suggests. Minnesota doesn't own the draft capital that the Milwaukee Bucks would need. While Jaden McDaniels would make for an interesting centerpiece who could be flipped for more assets from any contender, the Timberwolves don't have much of anything else to keep Milwaukee's interest.

Bottom of the barrel

New York Knicks. From the jump, the Knicks have been a poor fit as a trade partner. They lack picks, and the players they would trade, Karl-Anthony Towns and/or Mikal Bridges, are having strong playoff runs but have contracts so big that flipping them to another team would be a tall task. Trading Giannis to New York would put the Bucks in a difficult spot in terms of jump-starting a rebuild.

Golden State Warriors. Their most valuable asset is the 11th pick in the upcoming draft. Outside of that, Golden State's entire package is built around draft picks. There isn't a single blue-chip prospect on their roster to entice Milwaukee. The picks would be nice but not when other teams have that and players to offer the Bucks.
