The Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics have both likely had Wednesday's clash marked on their calendars for quite a while.

Two of the NBA's top competitors will be going at it, but there are question marks on both sides of the floor as to who will be playing. One thing for certain is that Giannis Antetokounmpo will be sidelined, as confirmed by The Athletic's Shams Charania. The Greek Freak has been battling a hamstring issue, which forced him to miss the team's previous game against the Phoenix Suns as well.

Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight? Injury reports for Bucks and Celtics

Obviously, not having Antetokounmpo is a sizeable blow for the Bucks, especially in a matchup of this particular magnitude. Yet, this hamstring is clearly bothering Antetokounmpo, and there is no reason for him to risk playing if it's bothering him so mightily. The 2024 NBA Playoffs are on the horizon, and that's where the Milwaukee Bucks will need a healthy Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Elsewhere on Milwaukee's injury report, MarJon Beauchamp is listed as probable, while Ryan Rollins, Chris Livingston, TyTy Washington and Jaylin Galloway are all unsurprisingly listed as out with a G-League assignment designation.

The Celtics have question marks of their own, as Jaylen Brown (right ankle sprain), Jrue Holiday (AC joint sprain) and Sam Hauser (left ankle sprain) are all deemed questionable as of the 10:30 a.m. ET injury report. Those are all key cogs for the Celtics, so it will be worth keeping an eye on which of them ultimately give it a go.

Boston also has three players on G-League assignment.

For the Milwaukee Bucks to get a victory, they will have to build off of their recent win over Phoenix, which, as already mentioned, came without Giannis. More pressure falls onto the shoulders of stars like Damian Lillard, Khris Middleton and, if he can keep playing like he has lately, Bobby Portis. This would be a big win for the Milwaukee Bucks on the nationally televised stage.

The regular season series between these two teams has been must-see television thus far, with each team taking home a win. After this, the two teams will meet once more.
