1. Jrue Holiday, Boston Celtics

The Milwaukee Bucks were thrilled to get Damian Lillard last year. They were likely not so thrilled that Jrue Holiday was rerouted to the Boston Celtics after initially being sent to the Portland Trail Blazers in that trade. On arguably the Bucks' most prominent rival, Holiday helped lead his new team to a title this past season, and having recently signed an extension, he won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

When healthy, there's an argument to be made that these are the two most talented teams in the East and that health has been the only thing stopping these two teams from meeting over the past couple of years. If both teams can stay healthy, they could undoubtedly meet in the playoffs for the first time since 2022, where there would be plenty of fireworks.

Holiday is in a great role in Boston, where he's not tasked with such an offensive burden, allowing him to focus more on defense. In this particular matchup, that could allow him to focus more on hounding Bucks players and making life difficult for them. When he is on offense, he benefits from the defense having to focus in on Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Boston's other stars, leaving him open often.

Given all of the talk over the past year, everyone wants to see Lillard and Holiday go head-to-head in the NBA Playoffs, and that matchup could make or break a potential series for both sides.
