AJ Green is seemingly pulling out all of the stops as he looks to earn a long-term extension with the Milwaukee Bucks. The prominent talk of the town after practice on Saturday was that Green hammered home a lob dunk off a pass from Kevin Porter Jr. His teammates were in awe, given that Green's game has never relied on dunks. The Milwaukee Bucks released the clip shortly after.

AJ Green's breakout is just getting started

Gary Trent Jr. and Myles Turner shared the same sentiment after practice: they didn't know Green was capable of doing that. The shock is valid, considering Green has never dunked in his entire career to this point. It's become something of a running joke amongst the team that Green is one of the only active players across the NBA to play a significant role to not throw down a dunk.

If he's looking to be aggressive like this, there's a great shot he gets that first dunk this coming year.

Of course, no one should expect the dunk to become a mainstay in Green's arsenal. If he threw down three of them this year, that would be shocking. Above all else, he's a long-range shooter, and with the Milwaukee Bucks making it clear they want to crank up the volume of 3-point attempts this season, he will certainly be out on the perimeter more than in the paint.

If AJ Green truly wants to master a new skill to fuel his development as a player, he should focus on hitting more pull-up jumpers. Everyone knows how lethal a catch-and-shoot player Green is, but he can always grow further to keep defenses on their toes. Last year, he shot 38.5 percent on pull-ups, including 36 percent from deep. Bumping both of those up into the 40s could be game-changing.

Perhaps the biggest story from all of this was that Green, along with Trent, Turner, Porter, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, were all spotted wearing black jerseys. Fans have called for this particular group to be Milwaukee's starting lineup next season, and this could be a hint that it's a reality. Green is due for a larger role, and it could very well come as a starter if this jersey speculation comes true.

He'd certainly have a lot more opportunities to throw down more dunks if he got starting-level time.
