In the latest edition of our Milwaukee Bucks’ Win In 6 Podcast, we prepare for four years of Giannis Antetokounmpo rumors and advise on how to approach them.
The latest episode of our Win In 6 Podcast arrives as the internet has once again decided to tell Milwaukee Bucks fans that the time is NOW to worry about Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future with the team.
You know, as is to be expected before a player even plays a second of basketball on his new contract that means he will stay in Milwaukee for at least four years.
Only three weeks into the Greek Freak’s new extension, Bucks fans have already had to deal with a flurry of bizarre and vague stories born out of quotes taken out of context from Giannis’ travels around the world.

In reality, this is just the beginning of a four-year process that is all very foreign to Milwaukee right now. Giannis is a bona-fide superstar, and Bucks fans are quickly learning of the few negatives that accompany having such a gifted player.
We discuss how various parties with various different agendas will continue to will Giannis away from Milwaukee over the coming years, and how it’s important that the Bucks’ community doesn’t automatically take that as reason to panic.
We also discussed what Derrick Rose‘s signing and the potential departure of Kyrie Irving means for the Cavaliers as the East’s clear frontrunner, and what possibilities they could open up for the Bucks.
As usual, we then wrapped up the episode with a selection of listener questions from our Twitter mailbag.
Joining me for this episode is contributor, and budding horologist, Jordan Treske.
