Milwaukee Bucks reportedly shopping Rashad Vaughn, Matthew Dellavedova
By Adam McGee
The Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly looking to trade Matthew Dellavedova and Rashad Vaughn with frontcourt help acting as the team’s top priority as a return.
The Milwaukee Bucks’ plans for the trade deadline may be set to change depending on Malcolm Brogdon’s status following his injury on Thursday night in Minneapolis, but the team continues to be a mainstay of the rumor mill either way.
While the Bucks have long been slated as a team who would be eager to act as buyers at the deadline, that process was always going to include the team trying to move some of their existing players.
With the latest bout of reporting surrounding the Bucks’ trade deadline outlook, two names have surfaced as candidates who could be on the move.

According to a report from Michael Scotto of The Athletic, previously of the Associated Press and Basketball Insiders, two of the Bucks’ guards are among the players the franchise has been eager to make available.
Scotto singles out Matthew Dellavedova and Rashad Vaughn as players who the Bucks would like to trade in the coming week, with Milwaukee’s eyes clearly set on upgrading their frontcourt depth.
In regard to Dellavedova, Scotto noted:
"“Guard Matthew Dellavedova has been made available on the trade market in the hopes of landing a rotation big man, The Athletic has learned.”"
Dellavedova is known as a highly valued locker room presence for the Bucks, but his contract is one that the Bucks would certainly like to lose in the hopes of creating greater cap space ahead of Jabari Parker’s free agency this summer or any other roster plans beyond that.
Vaughn’s inclusion among players Milwaukee would like to move is unsurprising considering the team declined his option, but Scotto implies the Bucks are “heavily” motivated to move the 21-year-old.
"“Rashad Vaughn is being heavily shopped by Milwaukee after the team declined his team option for next season.”"
Whether Milwaukee’s plans have changed since Scotto’s report published during Thursday’s game in Minnesota remains to be seen, as Dellavedova in particular may not be quite so expendable if Brogdon is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Additionally, Scotto stressed the Bucks’ continued interest in centers has stretched across a wide range of players, including DeAndre Jordan, Dewayne Dedmon and Kyle O’Quinn.
