Milwaukee Bucks: 4 players worth targeting in a Thon Maker trade
By Adam McGee
With Thon Maker out of the rotation and hoping to move on, which players could the Milwaukee Bucks target in deals at the trade deadline?
Just over a week on from his trade request making its way to the media, Thon Maker remains with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Australian big man has logged five straight DNPs with Milwaukee, and has been rooted firmly to the bench since his public agitation.
With Christian Wood soaking up garbage time minutes at his expense in Saturday’s blowout over the Wizards, it appears as if Maker’s time in Milwaukee really might be nearing its end.
Of course, the Bucks have no obligation to move, or play, Maker at present, but it does seem like a real possibility that the former lottery pick ends up in a new home by Thursday’s trade deadline.
With that, the question arrives to what the Bucks can get for Maker? Assessing Maker’s value is undoubtedly complicated, and it’s something I’ll explore further in the coming days. Still, that doesn’t mean the Bucks shouldn’t be using Maker to target other players who are widely reported as available.
In trading a non-rotation player with some potential at this time of year, the Bucks have a chance to be opportunists in picking up a player who could help them in their title push, or even a younger prospect who could be developed in the longer term.
With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at four players who might be worth targeting for the Bucks in the days ahead.
