Per Bleacher Report, the Milwaukee Bucks are among the three teams that have been linked to Stanford guard Tyrell Terry ahead of next month’s NBA Draft.

We’re less than three weeks away from this year’s NBA Draft and rumors continue to swirl as to where teams are leaning in their draft selections.

Save for some links to prospects here and there, the Milwaukee Bucks have largely been absent from the conversation as most of the recent speculation has focused on what the teams at the top and in the lottery do with their respective selections. But we have ourselves another link to a prospect that the Bucks have been previously linked to in recent weeks.

More from Bucks Rumors

According to Bleacher Report’s Jonathan Wasserman, the Bucks are among the three teams that he has heard that continue to show interest in Stanford guard Tyrell Terry:

"“Stanford’s Tyrell Terry got people talking by measuring around 6’3″ and weighing in at 174 pounds, a notable difference from the 6’2″, 160 pounds Stanford lists him as. I’ve heard Terry linked to the Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers as teams showing interest.”"

As I alluded to before, this isn’t the first link between the Bucks and Terry over the pre-draft process. The Bucks have continuously been linked to the 19-year-old in various reports, whether it’s been Darren Wolfson of KTSP or Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The Milwaukee Bucks’ interest in Tyrell Terry is very clear this far out from next month’s NBA Draft, even as questions exist whether they keep their pick.

There’s no question that Terry’s skill set as a lead or complementary ball handler falls exactly in line with what the Bucks are reportedly looking for this offseason.

In need of more high-level 3-point shooting, Terry certainly showed that he ranks among the purest shooters in this class after averaging 14.6 points on .441/.408/.891 shooting splits, along with 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists over 31 appearances as a freshman.

Terry’s prolific 3-point shooting and his secondary playmaking would certainly do wonders alongside key driving forces within the Bucks’ foundation like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and so on. The fact that they need more playmaking and guard help only reinforces the areas they have to address this offseason, regardless of it comes through the draft.

For Terry, the question is quickly becoming where he ultimately lands in the draft on November 18. Sports Illustrated’s Jeremy Woo reported Thursday morning that Terry’s glowing pre-draft process has led to him garnering interest from teams standing late and outside the lottery:

"“Team representatives have come away impressed with him in interviews, and multiple league sources hypothesize he’ll be drafted somewhere in the teens.”"

Of the teams that Wasserman noted that have shown interest in the Minnesota native, along with the Bucks, the 76ers hold the 21st overall pick ahead of the Bucks and the Lakers have the 28th overall selection.

As of now, intrigue as to what the Bucks do on draft night continues to simmer in the background amid all of the weighty decisions that will transpire this offseason. As always, we’ll have you covered with any rumors and news and much more.
