The Milwaukee Bucks will look to pick up their third straight victory when they host the Detroit Pistons once again Wednesday night at Fiserv Forum.

Hitting the halfway point in their five-game homestand, the Milwaukee Bucks are gearing up to take on the Detroit Pistons once again Wednesday night at Fiserv Forum.

Milwaukee is coming off a 125-115 victory over Detroit from Monday night in the first night of their back-to-back set in Milwaukee, all of which was led by a 43-point outburst from the reigning Most Valuable Player, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

More from Bucks News

With two straight victories under their belt, the Bucks stand at 4-3 two weeks into their run this 2020-21 season.

Detroit, meanwhile, will enter Wednesday night on a two-game losing skid and could have some reinforcements that weren’t available Monday night for various reasons.

So without further ado, let’s dive into the biggest things to watch for in the Bucks’ rematch with the Detroit Pistons going Wednesday night’s clash.

An encore from Giannis Antetokounmpo?

The star of Monday’s win over the Pistons, Giannis Antetokounmpo is looking for an encore over what stands as his early season benchmark.

The Greek superstar sliced and diced through the Pistons’ paint time and time again as he compiled 43 points on 17-for-24 shooting and supplied 30 of the Bucks’ 62 paint points for the night, a season-high for both player and the team.

Now as the Bucks’ leading superstar is getting back up to speed after what has been a wild, volatile start to the season, Antetokounmpo has been getting back into his groove as the Bucks’ leading offensive attacker. And while we wait on who will be available to Detroit going into Wednesday night, Antetokounmpo has the ability to feast upon the Pistons’ defense once again.

Detroit will surely look to throw as many defenders as they can towards Antetokounmpo and his way to the basket more regularly and how he will adjust to that will be interesting to follow.
