The Milwaukee Bucks handled their business yet again against the Miami Heat with a 120-103 victory in Saturday afternoon’s Game 4 matchup.

Despite winning comfortably by 17 points, it was far from smooth sailing for the Bucks to close this one out. Aside from Game 1’s down to the wire finish in overtime, this was certainly the most competitive game in the series. With the Heat leading 64-57 at halftime, the Bucks needed to find some answers, which they did with a dominant second half that propelled them to victory.

Following this massive win, the Bucks have officially sent the Heat home after sweeping them in the first round of these NBA Playoffs.

Although the players and head coach made it clear that seeking redemption was not the driving factor in Milwaukee’s overall dominance in this series, knocking out the reigning Eastern Conference Champions and the team that eliminated them from the playoffs last year must feel good.

With that being said, here are player grades for everyone involved in Milwaukee’s Game 4 victory over the Miami Heat.

How did the Milwaukee Bucks’ starters perform in Game 4 win over Heat?

Milwaukee Bucks. JRUE HOLIDAY. B. Jrue Holiday struggled mightily to find any momentum on the offensive end during his 38 minutes of burn in this game. Shooting 4-of-12 from the floor and 0-of-2 from deep, the guard finished with just 11 points, which would typically prove problematic. However, Holiday kept the offense running smoothly despite his shot not dropping as he dished out nine assists. His playmaking has been impeccable in this series and it is certainly welcoming to see him impact the game elsewhere when he cannot put the ball in the hoop. Furthermore, he tallied four steals on the afternoon by consistently putting pressure on the Heat’s best players and staying active on that side of the ball. Although he was out of sync when it came to scoring, it was yet another solid game for Holiday.. PG

Stepping in for the injured Donte DiVincenzo, whom the Bucks lost for the rest of the playoffs due to a foot injury, Pat Connaughton did not exactly start things off on the right foot. Playing 21 minutes, Connaughton struggled offensively by scoring just two points on 1-for-5 shooting, all four misses coming from behind the arc. He made good elsewhere by hauling in five rebounds, but there was not much else to take away from his performance. If the Bucks will keep Connaughton in the starting lineup full time moving forward, he will have to rebound from this performance by regaining his red hot shooting stroke.. SG. Milwaukee Bucks. B+. Khris Middleton rebounded well after a sluggish first half in Game 4 to finish with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists. With the Heat looking to build on their lead and pull away in the third quarter, Middleton flipped the switch and scored 12 of his points in that period to keep the Bucks within striking distance before eventually taking the lead. After navigating through his shooting struggles, Middleton certainly helped Milwaukee put this series to an end.. SF. Milwaukee Bucks. KHRIS MIDDLETON

Milwaukee Bucks. GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO. A. This was a historical game for Giannis Antetokounmpo in the sense that he logged the first playoff triple-double in his career. Finishing with a line of 20 points, 12 rebounds, and an impressive 15 assists, Antetokounmpo was doing everything in this game. As reflected by his assist numbers, the Heat tightened up their defensive efforts and forced the two-time MVP to get his teammates involved, and those on the receiving end certainly stepped up to do their part. Although he was just 8-of-18 from the field, including 0-of-4 from distance, this game was undoubtedly more focused on the playmaking showcase that he displayed en route to his triple-double.. PF

Milwaukee Bucks. BROOK LOPEZ. A+. In a game where Milwaukee’s offense was inconsistent, one starter that provided a solid lifeline was Brook Lopez. The big man was fantastic in this matchup by scoring a team-high 25 points on 73.3 percent shooting from the field. Having not attempted a triple throughout his 28 minutes played, Lopez continues his recent stretch of taking advantage of his size and dominating opponents down low. Also collected eight rebounds and two blocked shots, Lopez practically could not have been better in this initially closely contested Game 4.. C
